Kenjiro and Miyuki “Kay” Kida Family Collection

Envelope addressed to Mr. and Mrs. K. Kida and son in Nyssa, Oregon. Christmas card from Opal Yarnell to the Kida family dated December 16, 1943. Says she is afraid that Mrs. Pyatt doesn't have long to live. Hopes the war will end. Talks about her son Bucky in the navy and the places he has been stationed in the US. General news about friends and family. Asks the Kidas what they are going to do after the war ends; advises them not to come back to White Salmon due to a negative change in public opinion.
