Kenjiro and Miyuki “Kay” Kida Family Collection

Letter from "Grandma" (Sarah "Sade" Pyatt) addressed to "folks" (meaning the Kida family), dated July 1, 1942. Asks what the work is like (in Eastern Oregon), or if they have to work at all. Warns George against working too hard in the heat for fear of sunstroke. Writes of general news around White Salmon, such as James Albert "Al" Johnson's progress on the haying.
