Matsumura discusses the impact of growing up in a small town in Wyoming (particularly the lack of discrimination), the discrimination he faced in Heart Mountain, the movie theaters he ran at Heart Mountain, the extracurricular programs he helped run in camp, going to school, volunteering for the military from school, his time in Fort Hood, TX, joining up with the 442nd in Marseille, the Battle of the Lost Battalion, entering Germany from France, and coming across German military manufacturing sites.
