UC Santa Barbara Frank Chin Papers

A letter from Michi Weglyn to Frank Chin discussing Asian American studies professor Gary Okihiro's critical review of Weglyn's book "Years of Infamy." Weglyn describes this review as "fronting for Roger Daniels." Weglyn criticizes a book called "Moses," presumably she is referring to the book "They Call Me Moses Masaoka" by Mike Masaoka and Bill Hosokawa, which was published in 1987. Weglyn also speaks critically of the Dies Committee, the US congressional committee that investigated Japanese Americans during World War II.
