Nisei female. Born May 25, 1929, in Newcastle, California. Grew up in Newcastle, where parents ran a ranch. During World War II, was removed to the Tule Lake concentration camp, California. During the segregation period, transferred to the Heart Mountain concentration camp, Wyoming. After leaving camp, lived in Idaho and Utah before eventually returning to family's property in Newcastle.
