Yoshito writes to his wife and two of his daughters, assuring them that he is alright while separated from his family. He reminds his daughters that they are American citizens, to look after their baby sister, and to do well in school. In his letter to his wife, he gives her advice regarding managing the Cascade Soda Company in his absence.
