DESCRIPTION
Color slide of Rose Festival Parade float 7 driving down W Burnside in front of a crowd gathered outside Bekins Storage, a sign for Edwards Furniture is visible in background. The float depicts the nursery rhyme "Jack and Jill." Two children sit on the float acting the parts of Jack and Jill. A well is on the top of the float. A Royal Rosarian escorts the float. The side of the float reads "Restaurant Association" in blue flowers, the front reads "Jack & Jill" and a small yellow sign is visible with the number 7 on it. The Portland Rose Festival Parade is an annual event in which floats are made out of flowers and paraded down the streets of Portland. According to donor processed on July 3, 1952.
