Caption on reverse [translation]: "Does the continent ever move? It has been discussed since the German Dr. Wegener made public his "Continental Drift Theory" about 20 years ago. To examine this theory, the world is focusing on the drift of islands in the Pacific Ocean. Masaji Miyaji, 35, an Astronomical Observatory Engineer, and his assistant, Hideo Kato, 25, left for ________ for November 13th to December 6th, and then Saipan until January 4th, for observational work. The photo shows Miyaji, left, and Kato."
