Caption on reverse [translation]: "Remembering Mr. Kodama. (Tokyo) April 25, 1935. It has been 30 years since the great commander Gentaro Kodama died. General Ono, General Oe and others organized a memorial group. The members gathered at Chuo-tei to remember Mr. Kodama on the 25th. His eldest son, Hideo, lives with two elderly women. One is Mr. Kodama's widow, Matsuko, 80 years old, who has been suffering from an illness. The other is Mr. Kodama's elder sister, Hisako, who took care of her brother. Matsuko was sick in bed, but Hisako readily came out to the garden and sat in the spring sun. She talked about her memories with a strong voice. It was hard to tell that she is already 93 years old.
The photo is General Kodama's elderly sister, Hisako."
