Article [translation]: "Abbot K. Otani, Feeling Better, Heads for Home. Buddhist Abbot Kosho K. Otani, heir to the leadership of the 10 million member Higashi Hongwanji Sect, will leave tonight for Tokyo after recuperating in Hawaii from an attack of mumps. The Abbot had reservations for Japan Air Line's flight 603, arriving at Tokyo 9:30 a.m. Wednesday Tokyo time. The Abbot became ill here while en route home from a visit to Brazil."
