Caption on reverse [translation]: "Yogyo conference of the sixth generation. (Tokyo) November 28, 1936. After finishing negotiations with the sixth generation of Onoe Kikugoro, Mr. Tsurumi reported he will go into [?] of classic Kabuki [?] on the 27th. To make concrete plans such as the production of [?], the first conference was held at 12:30 p.m. at the International Cultural Promotion Center on the 28th. The attendees of the conference were Okada, head of the Cultural section of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs; Suzuki, chief of the Cultural section; Yokozawa, secretary; Minister Kazama; and O[?], who works for Shochiku. The expenses of promotion were discussed by Yokoyama and [?], vice-presidents, and the others. The conference ended at 2 p.m. after the twenty-five in attendance spoke about [?]. The photograph shows the meeting of Kikugoro (right) and Mr. Tsurumi (left)."
