DESCRIPTION

Caption on reverse [translation]: "(Tokyo) January 21, 1936. Kubutsu Otani left the priesthood on April 18, 1929 because of [?]. Since he left the priesthood seven years ago, he was granted a restoration of his priesthood before his father's [?] ceremony on February 8th. This ceremony marks his father's 13th anniversary of his father's death. He was notified of the restoration of his priesthood by Secretary-General Abe, Chairman [?], Vice-Chairman [?], Otani University President Kono, General-Manager [?], and Kanno [?]. They all arrived in Tokyo from Kyoto last night. They stayed at the [?] Hotel and visited Kubutsu at [?] to give him the notification. The photo is 1, Secretary-General Abe (left) meeting with Kubutsu."
