Caption on front [translation]: "Tokyo, Koko Nishimura. 1, Doctor of Medicine, laboratory member; 2, Tokyo; 3, 1891; 4, After graduating [?] High School, she attended Tokyo Women's College; 5, 89 Harajuku Sendagaya Tokyo; 6, Nagauta, Tokiwazu, Gidayu; 7, After graduating from Tokyo Women's College, she studied under Dr. Inoue as an otolaryngology and anatomy researcher at Tokyo Imperial University. In January 1931 she presented her thesis, "Research on Human [?], and she received Japan's first title of Doctor of Medicine for the research. She used twenty human heads and studied very hard."
