Caption on reverse [translation]: "Nichiren. (Tokyo) March 7, 1935. The world's first bronze statue will be built at Mount Ise in the town of Fujisawa. The pattern has been finished by [?] Nakatani of the Imperial [?]. The model for the bronze statue is the Nichiren monks' style of doctrine on the road and using a new technique that [?]. The height is [?], [?], total [?]. This statue is taller than the Maru building. The length of the face is [?], the ear is [?], the eye [?], the mouth [?], [?] from toe to finger, and it weighs [?]. This will take about three years to build, and it will be displayed inside [?], an approximately [?]-acre auditorium to be built. They will design a relief on the wall of the auditorium. This will cost a total of 50,000 yen."
