Caption on reverse [translation]: "Praise for Murakoso. Many letters from around the world. (Tokyo) October 9, 1936. The hero of the running world, the athlete Murakoso, who ran in the 5,000-meter and 10,000-meter races at the Berlin Olympics, received admiration and consolation from his fans all over the world. Two of those letters: "Dear Mr. Murakoso, I very much admire your good fight. I wish you [?] in your competition that was held on the 12th. Sincerely yours, [?]" (from a 13 year old girl). "I very much respect for your score in the [?]. That was very admirable. I am very grateful that you gave me an autograph. Please have good luck in your next Olympic game." (from a 12-13 year old girl). The photo shows 1, the mound of letters to Mr. Murakoso."
