Caption on reverse [translation]: "President Motono of Patriotic Women's Association. Celebration of her seventieth birthday. (Tokyo) March 2, 1937. The Patriotic Women's Association's 36th anniversary of their founding ceremony was held on the 2nd from 10:00 a.m. at the Patriotic Girls' School auditorium, then from 11:00 a.m. in Meguro a banquet was held to celebrate the seventieth birthday of the president of this association, Mrs. Hisako Motono, and also for Mrs. Haruko Hatoyama (77), Mrs. Ayako [?] (99) and Itsuko Megata (78), who are closely related to the association. The picture is 1, President Motono (right) and Mrs. Megata (left)."
