Article [translation]: "Former Honolulu Consul-General Rokuro Moroi passed away. Enjoyed the hobby of mountain climbing during his stay. From April 1916 to August 1919 he worked at the consulate as the Consul-General. After his last post as the minister in Argentina he retired from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Rokuro Moroi passed away from a stomach ulcer on the night of May 6th, in his home in Shibuya, Tokyo. He was 69 years old. He was fond of the hobby mountain climbing during his stay in Honolulu and was known for being an advocate of organizing the Thursday Luncheon at the Nuuanu YMCA. The photo is Mr. Moroi."
