Nisei male. Born December 2, 1926, in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. Family operated grocery store prior to World War II. Moved to Stockton, California, due to father's illness. Removed to Stockton Assembly Center and Gila River concentration camp, Arizona. Resettled in Nebraska and finished high school. Drafted into the army in 1945, and joined family in Denver, Colorado, after completing military service.
