Kaneji and Sally (Fujii) Domoto Collection

Letter from Taliesin. Kan has begun to apprentice at Taliesin, though his work is menial so far" working in the kitchen and sandpapering the floor of the new drafting room. He describes the weekend tradition in the fellowship of Saturday evening picnics and entertainment (shown in photos ddr-densho-329-721 through -726 and ddr-densho-329-835). He hasn't yet had much contact with Frank Lloyd Wright and is still waiting to find out if he'll learn anything by staying in the fellowship. He is still considering studying law, because he has noticed and been told by a client that he is a persuasive negotiator and that his skill would be wasted in landscaping.
