Letter from New York. Kan thanks Wak for a package, talks about visiting some of the New York City tourist sites and seeing movies. Wanted to get a meal in Chinatown but sensed anti-Japanese sentiment. Continues to discuss relationship between his immediate boss on the New York World's Fair garden, landscape architect Shogo Myaida, and the landscape architect running the World's Fair garden project, Nagao Sakurai.
