DESCRIPTION
After growing up in poverty on Kaua`i, Spark Masayuki Matsunaga became a warrior and a poet. A decorated veteran, he served 14 years in the US House and 13 years in the US Senate. He advocated for equality for all and, having tasted the bitterness of war, always strove to find ever-lasting peace.\n\n\nHe is a beloved son of Hawai`i.
