A letter from Shizuka Nishimura in San Juan Bautista, California, to her uncle and aunt, Seiichi Okine. She thanks them for chrysanthemum flowers which they sent to her. She receives letters from her family members in Japan and learns that Fumiko Yamanaka is planning to return from Japan to the U.S. soon and that Jogi sent Fumiko money to prepare for the trip.
