During the war, removed to the Puyallup Assembly Center, Washington, and the Minidoka concentration camp, Idaho. While the family was in camp, their prewar insurance agent paid the premiums so they could retain their insurance policy. After they returned to Seattle, Gerald's father was able to use funds from the policy to establish Linc's.",
