Arrested after refusing to report for military service after being drafted. Tried and served two years at the Santa Catalina prison camp for draft resistance. After release, eventually returned to Los Angeles, California.<p>(Due to technical difficulties during the taping of this interview, the interviewer's voice is considerably louder than the narrator's.
