Nisei soldier's caption: Dorothy Hasegawa originally came from Sacramento. 10 years ago she came to Italy to study music. The war caught her in Milan and in meantime became one of the leading soprano. Our boys had quite a feast when they visited her. She cooked Japanese food for them.
