Nisei male. Born December 9, 1921, in Los Angeles, California. Grew up in Los Angeles. During World War II, volunteered to move to Manzanar concentration camp, California, early in order to help with the construction of the camp. After leaving camp, relocated to Chicago, Illinois. Drafted into the 442nd Regimental Combat Team and served overseas. Eventually returned to California.
