Nisei female. Born January 1, 1920, in Los Angeles, California. Grew up in Covina, California. Worked for the Wartime Civil Control Administration (WCCA). Volunteered to go early to Poston concentration camp, Arizona, to help set up the camp. Eventually transferred to Heart Mountain concentration camp, Wyoming, before leaving for New York. Eventually pursued a career in social work and returned to California.
