Honolulu, Hawaii

Nisei male, born April 14, 1923, on the Island of Molokai, Hawaii. Volunteered for military service after the bombing of Pearl Harbor. Served in the 442nd Regimental Combat Unit as a Sergeant and Assistant Squad Leader. Later, he and three others in his unit had their rank reduced to Private after being court-martialed for alleged involvement in a fight with an army military police officer (MP).
