Sansei female. Born April 4, 1928, in Sacramento, California. Grew up in Sacramento before moving to Boyle Heights, California. During World War II, removed to the Santa Anita Assembly Center, California, and the Rohwer concentration camp, Arkansas. After leaving camp, attended school in Chicago before returning to Los Angeles. Established a career in nursing and teaching.
