Newsletter covering the following topics: Seattle JACL pledges $750/qurter for the next three years for National Redress program; story on Hirabayashi, Korematsu, and Yasui court case re-opening; John Kanda (Puyallup Valley) and Tomio Moriguchi explain the history of the JACL National Endowment fund, originally recipients of 1958 Evacuation Claims Act were asked to pay 10% to fund, $73,000 was collected. For the past ten years, $25,000 has been used to offset National JACL expenses ($250,000 plus interest which equals the interest rate growth). Tomio wants to release funds for Redress.
