Black and white photographic print of (from left) an unidentified woman, man and girl (Olinda Saito’s relatives) sitting at table in front of screen with calligraphy. Donor and Olinda Saito stayed at the Hanaya Hotel during this trip. Olinda was a Japanese citizen whose father was Japanese consul in Sao Paolo, Brazil, before WWII. He returned to Japan before WWII began. Donor met Olinda when Olinda began working as librarian at Detachment S, the officers school. Inscribed on back: "OCT 49/UEDA."
