DESCRIPTION
Color slide of four connected Rose Festival Parade floats that depict the story of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. The floats are driving down SW Third Ave in front of a large crowd gathered outside a Signal gas station and San Francisco Tailor, behind the Signal gas station is the old Multnomah Hotel. The first float has one dwarf and a yellow sign with the number 14 on it. On the side of the float is written "Meier and Frank Co." and on the front is written "Legend of Snow White." The middle floats each have three dwarfs made of flowers. The final float has a house with a woman standing in front waving at the crowd. The Portland Rose Festival Parade is an annual event in which floats are made out of flowers and paraded down the streets of Portland. According to the donor processed on June 16, 1954.
