Caption on reverse: "TOP MILITARY COMMANDER IN PACIFIC CHANGES: Admiral Arthur W. Radford, left, is shown shaking hands with his successor, Admiral Felix B. Stump, after being relieved of his duties as commander-in-chief, Pacific and U.S. Pacific Fleet, at colorful and impressive change-of-command ceremonies aboard the aircraft carrier USS Kearsarge at Pearl Harbor this morning. After more than four years as top military commander in the Pacific, Adm. Radford is leaving with Mrs. Radford tonight for Washington, where he will become chairman of the U.S. joint chiefs of staff on Aug. 15, succeeding Gen. Omar N.
