Caption on reverse: "GOLDEN JUBILEE OF PALI ROAD NOTED: A bronze plaque honoring Mayor John H. Wilson and the late Louis M. Whitehouse, engineers in charge of the construction of the Nuuanu Pali Road, which was completed 50 years ago, was unveiled yesterday in ceremonies sponsored by the Engineering Association of Hawaii. Shown above, left to right, are: Mrs. W. H. Soper, Mayor Wilson, Mrs. Wilson, Mrs. Whitehouse, Soper, a member of the association who orginiated the idea of the plaque, and M. R.
