Caption on reverse: "NEW U.H. PREXY HONORED AT ALUMNI LUAU: Dr. Paul S. Bachman, new president of the University of Hawaii, and Mrs. Bachman were honored at an inaugural luau held last night at the A.L. Andrews outdoor theater on the U.H. campus. One of the highlights of the program was the presentation of a check for $1,000 by the Associated Students of the University of Hawaii by its president, Kenneth Chong, to the university's Foundation Fund.
