Caption on reverse:
"Pictured above are, left to right, Japan's Consul General Kenzo Yoshida, Manager John Rolfes of the Hawaii Chapter, American Cross, at 453 South Beretania Street; Capt. Kazuo Nagatani, skipper of the ill-fated fishing vessel Hiroshima Maru No. 2 which ran aground off Ala Moana Park last Saturday; and Miss Florence Tam, disaster director of the local Red Cross.
Consul General Yoshida and Capt. Nagatani thanked the ARC's Hawaii Chapter for its assistance to the crew members of the Hiroshima Maru. Last Sunday the Hawaii Chapter gave the crew members hot meals and dry clothing at the U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Service compound and issued each member a complete set of new clothes and personal articles at the Kobayashi Hotel.--(Hawaii Times photo by Noboru Kawaguchi)."
