"QUANTICO, Va. (FHTNC) -- Attending a six-week Junior Platoon Leaders Course at the Marine Corps Schools here is Marine Platoon Leader Candidate Ray H. Westfall, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Ray H. Westfall of 1510 Bertram st., Honolulu, T. H., and husband of the former Miss Geraldine Gordon of Cleveland, Tenn.
Westfall is a student at Oregon State College. He arrived here July 25 and will return to inactive duty September 3. Upon successful completion of this course, plus one more six weeks course, and graduation from college, he will be commissioned a 2nd Lt. in the Marine Corps or Marine Corps Reserve."
