Caption on front [translation]: "Prime Minister Mussolini's Second Son. Dies in Bomber Crash. 2 More of 8 Crew Killed. (Rome, 7th AP). Captain Bruno Mussolini, Prime Minister Mussolini's second son, died today when the long-range bomber he was practicing in crashed near Pisa. His death was officially announced at 10 a.m. this morning. Two other members of the eight-man crew died, but the others escaped with injuries. Prime Minister Mussolini rushed to Pisa by plane. Their Majesties Emperor Emmanuel and Empress Elena send their condolences to the prime minister. (Photograph: Prime Minister Mussolini's dead second son). [Stamped] Aug 7, 1941."
