Caption on reverse [translation]: "(Sydney). When a model airplane fair for young people opened in Syndey recently, Kingsford Smith, famous as Australia's hero of the air, was invited as an honorary member. Seeing this world famous pilot in person, each of these youths asked for technical advice from this great hero about their own airplanes and wouldn't leave his side. The fair's program descended into chaos and couldn't continue. But Smith was in a cheerful mood, telling them to 'Please feel free to call me Smith. I'll give you all advice no matter how long it takes.' Photograph: A happy Mr. Smith surrounded by the youths."
