Caption on reverse [translation]: "Smith's 'Baby Car' Unsuitable for the Hero of the 'Southern Cross.' (Sydney) Rengo. The car belonging to the famous Australian pilot Kingsford Smith, who gained fame for crossing the Pacific and Atlantic oceans and magnificently making it from Australia to Britain in the 'Southern Cross' is a cute one. Even though his airplane is quite large, his 'Baby Car' can only fit him and his wife and is apparently famous on the streets of Sydney. Photograph: Kingsford Smith and his wife with their baby car. [Stamped] August 17."
