Caption on reverse: "2 col outline. 5-7-60. Determined youth: Alfred Herbert Jr., 21, Chinese Immigrant, arrived in San Francisco last Friday determined to meet his father, whome he has not seen in 10 years. A man who identified himself as Alfred Joseph Herbert, the father, has said he would refuse to see the young man. He claimed that young Herbert was born of an illegal Chinese marriage. Chinese Communist government, after years of red tape, finally allowed him to leave the country. He is shown above at the rail of the President Wilson on arrival in San Francisco. (UPI Photo)."
