DESCRIPTION

Caption on reverse: "New Zealand ace. Squadron Leader M.J. Herrick of the New Zealand Air Force, now flying with the New Zealand fighter unit based on Guadalcanal, has destroyed five Nazi planes and one Jap Zoro this far in the war. On night air raids, New Zealand airmen in the South Pacific, working in close cooperation with other Allied forces, have unloaded tons of bombs on Munda and other Japanese bases."
