Caption on reverse [translation]: "Great Rewards Reaped. The 'Graf Zeppelin' Returns. (Berlin) Rengo, Arrived Today. The Graf Zeppelin under Dr. Eckener returned home to a passionate welcome from a massive crowd at Tempelhof Airport in Berlin on July 30 following its flight to Franz Josef Land in the Arctic, its historic exchange with the Russian icebreaker Malygin, and having achieved great results in Arctic exploration. These events were previously reported on. Photograph: Dr. Eckener and Berlin Mayor Sahm (behind Dr. Eckener) descending from the airship's gondola to the passionate cheers of the crowd.
