Caption on reverse [translation]: "No. 1-3. Helmet Given to Wang Jingwei. It was announced at the Peer's Club on the 23rd that a young artist wanted to present Mr. Wang, who is renewing East Asian history, with a helmet he had made. He spent six months immersing himself in its creation with the backing of Duke Hiroyoshi Ito. Photograph: the completed helmet. [Stamped] March 25, 1940."
