Fukuda and Whitney Families Collection

4-page handwritten letter written on recto and verso from Alma to Mrs. Whitney on July 21, 1942 from Santa Anita Assembly Center. Includes two cutouts from newspaper titled, "New Transfer Plan Told," first page has stain from newspaper. Alma thanks Mrs. Whitney for writing to her, she hopes that Mr. Whitney and Mrs. Whitney are well, that her sister Fukuda mentioned they received the medicine, that the Fukuda family will not be able to go to Poston according to the newspaper article, how Layne is taking daily naps and being 3 years old.
