The Japanese American Museum of San Jose’s (JAMsj) mission is to preserve and disseminate the culture and history of Japanese Americans, with a special focus on the Santa Clara Valley.

Densho and JAMsj established a partnership in 2012 with the goal of making some of their collections available in the Densho Digital Repository. Work on this partnership was funded by the National Park Service Japanese American Confinement Sites program.
