Block print holiday card (made with block shown in object ddr-densho-493-3, designed by Tomio.) Front is addressed "Dear Maki, May + Doug .... Sincerely, Tomio" and design features the word "Greetings" in the sky above three buildings, a tower, and a fence—a scene possibly inspired by camp. Text of message reads: "Dear Maki, Thanks a million for everything. I’ll be out of the hospital in a week. Hope to see you folks soon. Take care of yourself — my regards to all. Tomio" Donor notes that Tomio was too ill to send the card to the Maki Yamada family before his death of tuberculosis in 1950.
