DESCRIPTION
Sumiko Seki was born on November 24, 1924, in San Pedro, California. She was one of Midori and Kazue Seo's three children. Her father was a farmer in San Pedro and her mother was a housewife. When the war broke out she and her family were sent to Jerome concentration camp in Arkansas. When the war ended, she and her family moved to Long Beach, California.
This interview is part of the South Bay History Project created by the South Bay Chapter of the Japanese American Citizens League.
