Kenneth Nobuji Iyeki Collection

Caption by Kenneth Iyeki: "This is a scene from the roof of an old stable. The latrine building which served our area [?] to the left. To the right is barrack #16 and between the two buildings is the stable where the batchelors [sic] used to sit all day and talk. Beyond the stable, partially hidden from view is the mess hall (#8) and beyond that, seen between an opening in the trees is the grandstand. In the lower left is a fire main which I doubt in case of a fire would ever spout forth anything, much less water."
