Original WRA caption: Closing of the Jerome Relocation Center, Denson, Arkansas. The Jerome Center lumber yard. Much of this lumber was cut at the center's sawmill which the evacuees operated. The remaining piles are being moved to other centers where needed. In the foreground is the scrap pile from which the residents fashioned most of their household furniture.
